DOWNEY - Downey High School's drama department will perform John Bishop's "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940," opening in June.
The production takes place in New York, 1940. A group of theatrical people gather in a mansion for what seems like an audition. Instead, they find themselves caught in a serial killer's game.
To make matters worse, they must try to stay alive while trapped in a terrible winter storm.
Performances are scheduled for June 7-8 and June 14-15 at 7 p.m. in the campus's D. Mark Morris Hall.
All tickets are $6 at the door.
