BELLFLOWER – St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Bellflower will celebrate its 30-year anniversary with a weekend-long festival that begins today.
Each day will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 8 a.m. Days will end at 10 p.m. following praises and glorifications for St. George.
The festival will include food, music, artwork and more, and will offer a glimpse of the ancient Egyptian Coptic Christian culture.
Admission to the event is free and the community is invited.
The church is located at 15725 Cornuta Ave., north of Alondra Boulevard in Bellflower.
