In a televised news briefing last night (Feb. 12) concerning the – at that time – unconfirmed death of Christopher Dorner in a burning cabin in Angeles Oaks in the San Bernardino Mountains, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department vowed that the LAPD would conduct an extensive investigation and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law any person who was found to have aided, abetted or any way assisted Dorner in his crime spree. And, well they should.
The police should also be that diligent in prosecuting all those people who aided and abetted all the pedophile priests who are so much in the news the past several years. One name, Roger Mahoney, comes to mind immediately. Then they could start on a real crusade and begin prosecuting all the people in public office who have taken a solemn oath of office and swore to uphold the laws of our country and have done nothing to enforce our immigration laws, even when they have had the illegals in custody.
I guess that is one of the perks of public office and law enforcement; you get to pick and choose which laws you wish to enforce and which you want to ignore.
