Art exhibit opens next week

DOWNEY - Original drawings, paintings and photographs by local emerging and established artists will exhibited July 17-19 at Granata's Italian Villa.The Artists Night Art Exhibition, sponsored by DowneyConnect.com, will feature more than 20 art pieces from 10 artists. The show will commence with its opening night July 17 at 7 p.m. All art will be available for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a scholarship fund for Downey students. The exhibit will be open July 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (reception at 7 p.m.); July 18 from 12:30-9:30 p.m.; and July 19 from 12:30-9:30 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is free.
