Astronomy Club meets Saturday

DOWNEY - The Columbia Memorial Space Center's newly-created Astronomy Club is meeting Saturday at 7 p.m. inside the space center.Each monthly meeting includes a program about the night sky and a chance for members and guests to talk about all things astronomy. Guests can also learn how to pick the proper telescope, how to use a telescope, how to build a telescope and how to identify different celestial objects. Meetings are free to attend. All space center exhibits will be turned off. Future meetings are scheduled for July 21 and Aug. 18.
