Battle of the bands at Downey High

DOWNEY - Downey High School will host its first annual battle of the bands Oct. 4 pitting the band and color guard units from Downey and Warren.Both schools' respective drumlines and color guards will perform, with audience members voting for the best band. The competition is from 5-9 p.m. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public.
