Cecile Jeanne Demers Dalmau, 93, was born in Montreal, Canada. She passed peacefully at her residence in Seal Beach, California on October 20th. She will be greatly missed by her family, relatives, and friends. She was such a sweet, gentle, kindhearted, gracious, and thoughtful person. She left a great legacy, showing us how to love unconditionally, with care and devotion. All those that met her would comment on what a classy lady she was...yet so cute!
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Narcisse Dalmau, as well as her 3 children: Alain (Lisa), Nadine (Max), and Cynthia; 7 grandchildren: Natalie (Jason), Andrew (Melanie), Matthew, Darren, Michelle, Weston, & Lauren; and 2 great-grandchildren: Arianna & Emmett.
She loved spending time with her family.
Cecile was a longtime resident of Downey, where she taught English as a second language at Downey Adult School, and French at Warren High School. She enjoyed her teaching career and then fully embraced her retirement years by traveling the world. She led a long, fulfilling and fruitful life. She will truly be missed and lovingly remembered.
