Children's reading event canceled

DOWNEY - Due to a scheduling conflict, tomorrow's youth reading event at Downey Memorial Christian Church has been postponed until sometime in May, event organizer Shirley Johnson has announced.Free bread will still be given away from 10 a.m. to noon, Johnson said.
