Church needs help serving homeless

DOWNEY - Volunteers are needed for a Thanksgiving outreach dinner planned Nov. 13 at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center.The dinner is being organized by Breath of God Christian Fellowship and the Aggressive Community Training and Services (ACTS) Foundation. Volunteers will help prepare and serve a hot meal to men and women from local homeless shelters. Help is also needed for set-up, decorations, etc. To volunteer, call the church at (310) 767-9620.
