Downey doctor voted 2017 Rookie of the Year

DOWNEY – The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California (OPSC) has named Elaine Ho, D.O., of Downey, as its 2017 Rookie of the Year.

Dr. Ho is completing her residency in family medicine at PIH Health Hospital in Downey. The award recognizes her participation in the OPSC’s Legislative Committee, as well as serving as an osteopathic manipulative medicine educator at the organization’s fall conference.

Dr. Ho earned her medical degree at Touro University, where she graduated last year. 

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California advances the practice of osteopathic medicine as an independent, scientific and complete system of medicine for the restoration and preservation of good health, and to present programs of education and information that contribute to the effective, professional practice of osteopathic health care for the benefit of all members of the profession.
