DOWNEY -- The Downey Theatre is accepting applicants for Facility Usage Grants for the 2015-16 fiscal year.
Downey-based non-profit organizations may apply for financial assistance in the form of a one-time Theatre rental credit through an established selection process.
The applicant must be Downey-based, a current State of California recognized non-profit, have a board of directors/officers, and have liability insurance and records of the current and previous year’s financial statements including the current year’s operating budget.
Applications are received by the Downey Theatre's subcommittee year round and reviewed on a quarterly basis beginning prior to each fiscal year, based on the advertised date, to determine which organizations will be awarded financial assistance. These awards will be based on the selection criteria and availability of funds.
