Elvia DeLeon passes away

DOWNEY – Longtime Downey resident Elvia DeLeon passed away last week with her family at her side. DeLeon was a parishioner at OLPH Catholic Church in Downey, and a member of the Downey Quilters, Widows and Senior Citizens groups.

She is survived by her five children, Jim, Roland, Ruben, Celeste and Roger De Leon; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at Miller Mies Mortuary.
