Friends of library hosting sale

DOWNEY - The Friends of the Downey City Library will host their annual Holiday Marketplace on Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the library's Cormack Room.Items for sale will include handmade crafts, fall and Christmas decorations, baked goods, holiday storybooks, CDs and DVDs, Agatha Christie leather-bound books, holiday cookbooks and more. Prizes will also be raffled. Free hot wassail punch will be served. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the library.
