Funeral held for Bob Leonard

DOWNEY - Downey resident Bob Leonard, born Aug. 11, 1921 to Joseph and Mildred Leonard, has died.He was a father to his son, Bill Leonard, and daughter, Sharon Davis; and grandfather to Cristal Davis, Brady Leonard, Brett Leonard and Scott Davis. Bob founded R.R. Leonard Company, a reinforcing steel company, in 1967, where he worked daily with his son, daughter and grandchildren. A funeral was held March 22 at First Presbyterian Church of Downey. He was laid to rest at Inglewood Cemetery next to his wife, Marian Leonard.
