Hilda M. Hazzard passes away at 95

DOWNEY - Downey resident Hilda M. Hazzard passed away on Jan. 31 at her Casanes Avenue home. She was 95.She is survived by her husband, centurion Ellsworth Hazzard, who is a widower for the second time. Born Hilda Ahlberg in Hudiksvall, Sweden on June 23, 1913, she married Arne Sather in 1945. After many trips to visit Cecilia Petersen on Casanes Avenue, she married here in 1987 to Ellsworth Hazzard, a neighbor.
