Hospital opens outpatient center

WHITTIER – A new outpatient GI center has opened adjacent to PIH Health Hospital in Whittier. The center is equipped with the latest technology, hospital officials said, including high-definition scopes and monitors for treatments such as colonoscopies, endoscopic procedures and esophageal treatments.

The center opened Tuesday and accepts appointments weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
