Jacob Elijah Galindo

Born October 24, 1994 in Downey, California passed away peacefully with his parents and family members at his side on October 4, 2009 in Long Beach, California. Jacob fought a courageous battle throughout his fourteen years. His spunk and loving ways will always be missed by all of us that knew him. We will always remember his smile, and mischievous way of getting those around him to cater to his needs. It is true that one person can bring much joy to all those around them if they smile and show a little appreciation. He taught us that those two traits were essential in our lives. Angel baseball games will not be the same without him. He loved his Angels and the Yankees, but was a true Angel at heart, going to games will not be the same without him. We are certain that Jacob and Gene Autry will be sitting together this week rooting for their beloved Angels. Jacob is survived by his parents, Elvin and Rosy, his brother Cristian, his sister Samantha, his grandparents Bernie and Margarita, his uncles Robert, Abel, Jaime and Ramiro, his great grandmother Mary, and his loving aunts who cared for him since birth Lidia, Lisa, Maria, Arlet and Aura and numerous cousins. Viewing will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 11733 Florence Avenue, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670. Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Internment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
