Job coach offers help

DOWNEY - Residents searching for a new job or career are invited to the Job Club at First Presbyterian Church of Downey, which meets every Monday from 8-9:30 a.m.The group is facilitated by Carl Wellenstein, author of "12 Steps to a New Career." The community is welcome and there is no cost to attend. First Presbyterian Church is at 10544 Downey Ave., at 7th Street.
