Kiwanis golf tournament Sept. 28

DOWNEY - The 12th annual Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament will take place Sept. 28 at the Candlewood Country Club in Whittier.Entry fee is $165 per person and includes green fees, golf carts, barbecue lunch and dinner. Additional dinners are $35 each. A foursome with a tee sign is $700, and a Golden Tee sponsorship, which includes a foursome, special tee sign and dinner recognition, is $1,000. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at noon. Dinner and awards begin at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the philanthropic endeavors of Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis Club, which supports Arc, Meals on Wheels, Rio Hondo Temporary Home, YMCA, Boy Scouts, Key Club and more.
