Letter to the Editor: Consequences for Hillary Clinton

Dear Editor:

What should the consequences be for Hillary Clinton for her negligent handling of sensitive information while employed by the US Government as the Secretary of State?

The Director of the FBI, Mr. Comey, stated in his testimony before Congress on Thursday June 7, that any employee of the US Government who acted in a manner similar to Hillary Clinton would be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

So if you or I, if employed by the US Government, mishandled sensitive information we could be fired and never again allowed to hold a position with the US Government that deals with sensitive information, what consequences should be dealt to Mrs. Clinton for the same actions?

If we could not be employed in a sensitive position, why should Mrs. Clinton be allowed to hold the most sensitive position in the US Government when it has been proven that she was negligent in her handling of sensitive information, and in fact lied to the American people over and over again saying she did not mishandle sensitive information.

What should Mrs. Clinton’s consequences be?
