DOWNEY -- Downtown Downey bar and restaurant Lock and Key Social Drinkery participated in the 15th annual Dux in Tux fundraiser sponsored by the Anaheim Ducks last month, helping to raise more than $350,000 for the NHL team’s foundation. The cocktail party teamed participating chefs with an Anaheim Ducks player who served as sous chef.
Each duo teamed up for a joint mission: to serve a table of 12 for their own unique and memorable dining experience. Every table was decorated with each participating restaurant’s own distinctive chairs, floral arrangements, linens, place settings and gifts for each guest.
The dinner program was co-emceed by Ducks television play-by-play announcer Brian Hayward and Ducks television host Kent French.
