Lost your motivation to exercise?

DOWNEY - Life can bring different challenges our way that cause us to lose motivation when it comes to working out.Remember fitness isn't a one-time activity - it's for life. So don't be hard on yourself, just get back on track and keep working at it. Here are a few tips to help get your motivation back: Set Goals - Start with simple short-term goals then progress to long-range goals. A short-term goal might be to walk three times per week for 20 minutes where a long-term goal might be to compete a 5K walk or run. Have Fun - Find an exercise class or sport you like. You're more likely to stick with a fitness program if you're having fun. Consistency Not Perfection - Don't be so hard on yourself. It's not about being perfect but consistent. Give yourself a couple of days off from working out if you need it. As long as your consistent, that's what counts.
