Man hospitalized after house fire

NORWALK - An abandoned house in Norwalk caught fire Monday, injuring a man who suffered burns over more than half of his body.Neighbors reported an explosion and fire at a home at 12640 Zeus Ave. at 11:30 a.m. Firefighters responded and extinguished the flames at 11:59. The victim reportedly suffered extensive injuries. An update on his condition was not immediately available. Authorities did not say what caused the fire.
