Mentally disabled woman goes missing

DOWNEY - Downey Police are asking the public's help in finding a mentally-disabled woman who walked away from her family at Stonewood Center on Saturday.Yvonne Denise Grayson, 45, lives in Arizona but was visiting relatives in Norwalk. The family visited Stonewood Center when Grayson walked away from family members. She was last seen exiting the mall at about 1:15 p.m. Grayson suffers from schizophrenia and has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old, police said. She is on prescribed medication which she does not have in her possession. She is described as black, 5-ft. 3 inches tall, 274 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Grayson is not familiar with the area. She may have boarded a bus back to Arizona.
