Open house at First Presbyterian

DOWNEY - Pastor Candie Blankman of First Presbyterian Church of Downey will share details from her recent sabbatical during open house events July 24-25.Blankman recently returned home following a sabbatical journey where she retraced her father's footsteps as a POW during World War II. Open houses will be offered July 24 from 1-6 p.m., presentations 2 and 5 p.m. The open house will be open from 12:30-4 p.m. on July 25, with a presentation at 12:30 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Downey is at 10544 Downey Ave.
