Razorbacks hosting Back to Football Night on Wednesday

DOWNEY — The Downey Razorbacks will kick off registration for its 63rd youth football season at its Back to Football Night this Wednesday, March 8, starting at 7 pm at the historic Casa de Parley Johnson.

After this date, registration will take place every Saturday beginning April 9 at Furman Park from 10 am to 2 pm.

The league offers flag football ($200), tackle football ($290) and cheerleading ($290) to boys and girls ages 5-14. Registration includes trophy, league picture package, and game socks.

All equipment is provided on loan.

Payment plans are available and registration can be paid with check, cash or Venmo. A $100 deposit is required.

Jersey and cheer uniform fittings will take place June 3 and practices start July 24. The first game is scheduled for Sept. 9. Home games are played at Downey and Warren high schools.
