Scholarships offered to students

DOWNEY - Graduating seniors Downey Unified high schools are encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by the Assistance League of Downey.To qualify, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be in good standing with citizenship and attendance, and have "excelled as community volunteers." Applications are available at school guidance offices. Winners will be announced at an annual awards assembly held at local high schools.
