SEAACA workers join union

DOWNEY - Animal control workers with the Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) voted overwhelmingly earlier this month to unionize, merging with the SEIU Local 721."We've taken the first steps to form a strong union, now we've got to work together to win a strong contract," said animal control officer Justin Guzman, according to a statement released by the SEIU. SEAACA workers said they are "looking forward to bargaining a stronger contract in the coming weeks."
