Space center to offer solar system tour presentation

DOWNEY - The Columbia Memorial Space Center will host a "Tour of the Solar System" presentation this Saturday, Jan. 21, from 1-2 p.m.Robert Ferguson, co-founder and trustee of the Mt. Wilson Institute, will provide the tour and examine the inique features of each planet and their relationship to the center of the solar system. Ferguson has taught astronomy and held seminars on telescope use and astrophotography at different universities, including UCI and UCLA. He is currently president and CEO of Mars Manned Mission Corporation, a non-profit organization that develops educational programs to inspire martian exploration by today's youth.
