Student mechanics to be tested

NORWALK - Cerritos College's Automotive Technology Department will host a high school auto tech competition tomorrow at 9 a.m.During the competition, student teams will exhibit their auto technology skills by testing, diagnosing and reporting results in categories such as automatic transmission, fuel injection and emission, heating and air conditioning, brakes, basic electrical, tools, and measurements. Two winning teams will compete in the 2010 National Automotive Technology Competition held at the New York International Auto Show in New York this April. Tomorrow's competition is open to the public at Cerritos College, 11110 Alondra Blvd., in Norwalk.
