Three people detained for questioning earlier this afternoon have been released after detectives became convinced they had no involvement in yesterday's triple homicide in Downey.
A fourth man who fits the suspect's description is still being interrogated.
Police today also publicly identified the victims. They are Josimar Rojas, 26, of Downey; Susana Perez-Ruelas, 34, of Downey; and Irene Cardenas, 35, of Cudahy.
A 13-year-old boy who survived the attack has been released from the hospital. An adult female victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
A Chevy Camaro stolen during the killings was found in Los Angeles.
Police have not offered a motive for the killings but say the victims were specifically targeted. Authorities have privately backed off their initial suspicion that drugs were a factor.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call Sgt. Dwayne Cooper at (562) 904-2340.
