Local residents are invited to a community meeting Wednesday where public works staff will discuss the I-5 Freeway expansion project.

The meeting is from 7-8 p.m. at Redeemer Covenant Church, 10801 Fairford Ave., in Downey.

"As a resident of a community that will be HIGHLY impacted, you are encouraged to attend this important public meeting and voice your concerns," a city flier reads.
