Our Lady of Perpetual Help School's cheerleaders started their competition season with two wins at a recent tournament.
The girls competed in the CYO Cheer Competition held at St. Joseph's High School in Lakewood on Feb. 23.
Girls in grades 4-8 competed in the "A" team division and those in grades 2-3 competed as "Mighty Mites".
Both teams took first place in their division, earned the highest overall scores and were crowned Grand Champions.
OLPH School's next competition is March 23 at Knott's Berry Farm.
