A Downey man who allegedly sympathized with ex-LAPD cop Christopher Dorner was ordered by a judge last week to stay away from Los Angeles County’s Child Support Services Department and three of its employees.
NBC-4 was the first to report the news.
Hashim Mwamba Bomani, 43, allegedly ranted against the department and director Steven Golightly on his blog, The Bomani Report.
Bomani also praised Dorner as a “real American hero” and urged him to “stay alert…stay alive sir.”
L.A. Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson said Bomani’s writings did not rise to the level of a threat but nonetheless ordered Bomani to stay away from the department’s headquarters for three years. Bomani also is forbidden from contacting Golightly and two other department workers.
Bomani claimed to be a mental health professional and veteran of the U.S. Army, a claim disputed by Another Blog.
