Crime report for week of June 13

Saturday, June 8: At 5:30 p.m., a motorcyclist died as a result of the injuries caused by a traffic collision which occurred at the intersection of Phlox and Paramount. The collision occurred when the motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and sideswiped a vehicle as he attempted to pass it on Phlox. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The collision is still under investigation.

Sunday, June 9: At 10:00 p.m., a home was burglarized in the 10400 block of Wiley Burke by an unknown male. The victim arrived home and observed the suspect running through the house, into the backyard, and then over a brick wall. Detectives are investigating.

Tuesday, June 11: At 4:19 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 8800 block of Imperial Highway. The victim reported a suspect walked into the business and brandished a knife. The suspect demanded money and the victim complied. The suspect ran out of the location with the money and out of sight. No injuries were reported. Detectives are investigating.
