If you didn’t purchase a ticket to Saturday’s Downey Symphony performance, you’re out of luck: the concert is officially sold out.
The concert features a solo performance by Elizabeth Pitcairn and her rare 1720 Stradivarius, which inspired the 1998 film “The Red Violin.”
“If you don’t have a ticket, come early and try your luck at the box office,” said Joyce Sherwin, who handles publicity for the Downey Symphony. The box office opens Saturday at 7 p.m.
