Downey police are searching for an elderly couple who disappeared after eating dinner at Marie Callender’s last Wednesday.

George Delis, age 100, and his wife, Eileen, age 90, were last seen leaving the restaurant in their 1999 Green Oldsmobile at about 7:30 p.m.

A caretaker reported the couple missing after they didn’t return home. Family members said the couple does not drive outside Downey city limits.

Police officers searched their house and found the lights turned on. The bed didn’t appear to have been slept in and their prescribed medication was inside the house.

Police have also searched local hospitals to no avail.
