The controversy over a proposed traffic signal at Woodruff and Via Amorita next to East Middle School may be resolved Monday when the City Council hosts a special meeting on the topic.
According to an agenda, council members will discuss pedestrian and vehicle traffic and safety in the neighborhood around East Middle School.
Earlier this year, local residents protested a traffic signal that was proposed for the intersection of Woodruff and Via Amorita.
Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. inside the Cormack Room at City Hall. (An earlier version of this story incorrectly listed the meeting place as City Hall — I apologize for the error.)
