Five things to know Wednesday: 

1.) Los Angeles-based rock band Dream Alive announced it will release its debut album, “Before The Dawn,” at the Stardust Club in Downey on July 12. 

2.) The City Council is meeting at 2 p.m. today to review the 2014-15 fiscal year budget.

3.) Cafe Corleone restaurant is marking its one-year anniversary by hosting a Downey Chamber of Commerce “mix ‘n mingle” networking event today from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $6 and includes an Italian appetizer buffet.

4.) The fourth annual “March for Jesus” is taking place this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. on the sidewalk of Firestone Boulevard, between Lakewood and Paramount boulevards. Organizers expect between 300-500 participants.

5.) Downey High School holds graduation ceremonies tonight at Cerritos College.
