Five things to know this Friday morning:

1.) KNX 1070 will be broadcasting live from Porto's Bakery in Downey today from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m..

Various city officials and community leaders will be interviewed live on the air throughout the day. The Downey Patriot will be on the air at 2:20 p.m.

2.) The OC Register profiles illustration professor Cliff Cramp, who grew up in Downey and graduated from Warren High.

3.) Downey resident Katie Rispoli writes about the Plaza Guadalajara office building built by Glen Bell in 1963 next door to the first Taco Bell. It's scheduled for demolition.

4.) Keep Downey Beautiful's phone number at City Hall has changed. The new number is (562) 905-7103.

5.) "Bebe" (ID no. 15-20244) is SEAACA's Pet of the Week.

Bebe is described as "very friendly" and "looking for a partner in crime that will be my new best friend."
