Tuesday morning report, Sept. 1

Five things to know this Tuesday morning: 

1.) Councilman Sean Ashton is having his town hall meeting Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Barbara J. Riley Center. It starts at 6 p.m. 

 Ashton says he'll share updates from the city, and also answer questions from the audience. 

2.) A prime strip of Firestone Boulevard is on the market with a $1.5 million asking price.

5.) Sebastian Sidi will hold live auditions for his next "Talent Showcase"  at Stonewood Center on Oct. 24. 

English and Spanish singers of all ages are encouraged to audition starting at 2 p.m. in the JCPenney court. Twelve singers will be selected to perform in a live show next year.
