DOWNEY – The Joyful Singers, an ensemble of mixed voices, is seeking additional singers to join its group.

Tenors, basses and baritones are particularly sought to join the 4- and 5-part harmonies.

The Joyful Singers have performed for the OASIS group at Downey Adult School and at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cerritos.

The group rehearses a varied repertoire of new compositions, show tunes, classics and oldies at a private home in Bellflower on Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m.

The ability to read music is a plus, but is not required. There is no fee to join.
