Downey AYSO 10u girls all-star soccer team

The Downey AYSO 10u girls all-star soccer team placed third in the 2013 Area 11Z AYSO Championship tournament this past weekend. The girls played four games in two days after losing in a penalty-kick tiebreaker in the semi-finals against Long Beach after the game ended in a 0-0 tie after regulation. The team was led by Giselle Ramirez, Brooklyn Ramirez, Hailey Harris, Juliet Sullivan, Xol Guerrero, Mariana Saucedo, Ashley Ramirez, Cynthia Robledo, Yairet Jimenez, Carisia Raygoza, team parent Laura Ramirez and coaches Jaime Ramirez and Rudy Ramirez. ********** Published: January 24, 2013 - Volume 11 - Issue 41
