Rose Float holding elections

DOWNEY - On Jan. 23, the Downey Rose Float Association will hold their election of officers and directors for their 2013 board.The election will be held at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center at 7 p.m. All members are welcome to vote. These are the nominees for officers and their proposed positions: Gary DeRemer (president), Susan Domen (vice president), Sarah Kendall (2nd vice president), Judy Artherton (3rd vice president), Pam Chambers (secretary), Sue England (treasurer). Proposed directors include Reggie Donahue, Jennifer DeKay, Mike Negrete, Carl Johnson and Misty Hausmann.
