Fake police car stolen in Norwalk

A company car designed to look like a police cruiser was stolen in Norwalk this weekend and detectives are anxious for its recovery. The 2004 Ford Crown Victoria was stolen from outside Goodies Uniforms, 12158 Firestone Blvd., on Sunday at about 2 a.m.

The black and white car has spotlights on both sides and an orange security-style light bar on top. The numbers "069" are painted in large black letters on the roof's rear portion.

Anyone with information on the car's whereabouts is asked to call the Norwalk Sheriff's Station at (562) 863-8711 and reference file No. 913-04449-0454-091.
