Street priorities

Dear Editor:So the City Council thinks Brookshire Avenue is in worse shape than Lakewood Boulevard. ("Brookshire Set for Repaving," The Downey Patriot, 5/16/13) In my opinion, that shows they never drive on Lakewood between Florence and Telegraph. I doubt there is a street in the entire city in worse shape than Lakewood. Once again us folks on the wrong side of the freeway get slapped in the face by the Downey City Council.
