Water barrel giveaway March 30

DOWNEY - Free barrels intended for storage of emergency water will be distributed March 30 in the Stonewood Center parking lot.Drivers should enter the north parking lot via Cecilia Avenue. Residents must be in a vehicle to receive a barrel. The distribution starts at 8 a.m. and continues until noon, or until all barrels have been given away. Barrel pumps, siphon hoses and cap handles will be available for purchase at the giveaway. The barrels are donated by Coca-Cola. For more information, e-mail ready@downeyca.org.
