DOWNEY - Downey councilman and state senate candidate Mario Guerra has been endorsed by the Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs. The organization represents seven chapters throughout L.A. County and well over 300 members "who come from a wide range of backgrounds." "The Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs Board of Governors voted unanimously to endorse Mario A. Guerra for the 32nd Senate District," said chairman Robert A. Virtue. "Mario has the type of track record that makes him the perfect candidate for this seat: he is the only candidate who is a successful small business owner, has reduced crime and helped to improve the education of children in Downey," he added. " These experiences and the character that he has shown during his service as an elected official are the reasons we support and endorse him." Guerra said he was "honored" to receive the endorsement. "The membership of these clubs represent successful small business owners and entrepreneurs from all over Los Angeles County," he said. "Their endorsement is a true testament to my track record on creating new companies and real jobs."
