Post office box

Dear Editor:In response to the letter "Slow Mail Service," the mail carriers bring the mail "come rain or shine. Delays are part of life and common. I personally love the faithful service provided by the U.S. Postal Service at little or no cost to you for home delivery. My suggestion for more prompt mail service, and so you get your mail first, is to pay for a post office box. They are very reasonable. I have used them for over 30 years. But in the end people will find something to complain about. For me it's "three cheers for the hard-working men and women serving us at USPS." C. Byrne Downey
