Walk for Life Sunday

DOWNEY - Registration is now being taken online for the fourth annual Walk for Life, a community walk at Cal State Long Beach on Sunday, March 2, to raise funds for suicide awareness on college campuses.The walk originated in Downey but moved to CSULB this year. The event will be held rain or shine and begins with an opening ceremony at 7:45 a.m., followed by the walk at 8 and closing ceremonies at 10 a.m. Registration is $25 (includes t-shirt) and can be completed online at amazingdayfoundation.org.
